What You Should Know About the Sasser Worm

If your computer is infected with the W32.Sasser.worm, you will
see a dialog box with an LSASS.exe error.

1. Enable the Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall or a
third-party firewall on the affected computer.
2. Disconnect the computer from the Internet.
3. Restart the computer. If you have problems rebooting, reboot
in safe mode.
4. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL.
5. Click the Task Manager.
6. Click the Processes tab.
7. Press and hold the CTRL key and then click
C:\WINDOWS\avserve.exe and c:\WINDOWS\system32\*_up.exe.
8. Click the End Task button.
9. Click Start.
10. Click Search and then search for and delete the following
files:
* C:\WINDOWS\avserve.exe
* c:\WINDOWS\system32\*_up.exe
11. Click Start again, click Run, and then type: regedit32
12. Click OK.
13. In Registry Editor, locate and delete the following registry
key:
* HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVe
rsion\Run "avserve.exe" = C:\WINDOWS\avserve.exe
14. Connect the computer to the Internet.
15. Go to the Windows Update site, and click the Scan for
Updates button.
16. Download and install the critical updates
recommended after the scan.

cada poco tiempo me sale un mensaje y a los 60 segundos
se me apaga el ordenador.
El mensaje es:

el apagado ha sido iniciado por NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM

Y los parches de seguridad? y el firewall?? , donde?

por la novedad podria ser el "Sasser" en alguna des versiones

Tienes bajadas todas las actualizaciones de seguridad?

Gusano que se propaga utilizando la vulnerabilidad en el proceso LSASS (Local
Security Authority Subsystem), reparada por Microsoft en el parche MS04-011.
Sólo afecta computadoras bajo Windows XP o 2000, que no posean dicho parche
instalado.
Podría causar que el sistema sea reinciado.

Gusano que para propagarse a otros equipos, aprovecha la vulnerabilidad en el proceso
LSASS (Local Security Authority Subsystem). Sólo afecta a equipos Windows 2000/XP y
Windows Server 2003 sin actualizar.
También hace actuar a la máquina infectada como servidor FTP
Podría provocar el reinicio del sistema infectado.
