Mensaje de correo de Microsoft

Hoy he recibido un mensaje de de correo de Microsoft, con este asunto
"Latest Internet Security Pack" y un adjunto llamado "patch.exe" de 156 KB.
Me mosquea mucho y no se si es autentico. Por lo pronto no pienso ejecutar
el adjunto ni en broma.
El texto lo pego aquí:

Es falso y es un virus.
Microsoft NUNCA envia parches por mail. en el mejor de los casos, y a los que están suscritos a los boletines de seguridad, les envía un link a su sitio de descarga.

Como norma general NUNCA ejecutes un .exe que venga en un mail: lo firme
quien lo firme.
