Tengo una duda con esto, si tengo el server funcionando bajo windows. La
otra maquina sin entrar en windows
detectara el servidor DHCP? O debe tener activada alguna opcion del setup de
la bios?

funcionando?

El XP Professional no lleva servidor DHCP, no?
