Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
Sería bueno que todos los que poseemos un Firewall hicieramos varios "test"
para comprobar de una vez por todas cual es el mejor.

EL problema de estos firewalls es cuando se ponen "pesaditos" con permisos, o el usuario necesita y quiere reconfigurar y tiene pocos conocimientos... y la lia.

Los errores que se comenten con lso firewalls en los grandes centros de procesos y en las grandes corporaciones y servidores... siempre es error humano. Y son firewall serios. Y son tecnicos en informatica y expertos en seguridad Si ellos lo comenten antes o despues un usuario final caerá y mucho antes. :-(

Por cierto, ¿has intentdo buscar exploits para "violar" a Panda? los hay. (no he comprobado para que version...)

Lo aconsejamos por dos motivos:

1) Totalmente seguro. En dos años que lleva, no hay ninguna vulnerabilidad contra él (el resto de los de terceros no pueden decir eso...)
2) Sencillo de manejar. practicamente imposible cometer errores en su configuracion por un usuario final.

Ya... estaba en ello... a ver si encuentro alguno.

De todas formas, en todo el proceso de escaneo, el firewall no ha notificado
ninguna acción al usuario. En principio éste firewall únicamente notifica en
los siguientes casos:

Cuando hay un escaneo de puertos

Cuando hay una aplicación que desea acceder a internet.

El problema para un usuario básico será la segunda opción, ya que si no
tiene conocimientos suficientes acerca de los ejecutables, podría permitir
programas "malignos" o por otro lado cerrar el acceso a programas normales.

EL problema de estos firewalls es cuando se ponen "pesaditos" con
permisos, o el usuario necesita y quiere reconfigurar y tiene pocos
conocimientos... y la lia.

Los errores que se comenten con lso firewalls en los grandes centros de
procesos y en las grandes corporaciones y servidores... siempre es error
humano. Y son firewall serios. Y son tecnicos en informatica y expertos en
seguridad Si ellos lo comenten antes o despues un usuario final
caerá y mucho antes. :-(

Por cierto, ¿has intentdo buscar exploits para "violar" a Panda? los
hay. (no he comprobado para que version...)
