No arranca el servicio Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)

Tengo un Windows Server 2003 con ISA 2004. repentinamente dejo de
levantar el servicio Windows Firewall. Cuando lo intento levantar da el
siguiente error:
Error 123: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is
incorrect.
Copio los datos del Event log
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7023
Date: 19/10/2006
Time: 10:30:04 a.m.
User: N/A
Computer: ICK01
Description:
The Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) service
terminated with the following error:
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
