In memoriam - In Memory, Sonia Coleman

Nos entristece comunicarles a todos que hemos perdido a una de las mejores de
los nuestros.

Sonia Coleman, nuestra “Lady in Red”, falleció el Sábado 15 de julio.

Casi había ganado una larga, valiente batalla contra el cáncer cuando los
efectos secundarios del tratamiento y otros problemas se la llevaron en paz,
inesperadamente, durante el sueño.

Sonia llegó al grupo de noticias de PowerPoint para aprender cómo hacer CDs
autoejecutables.
No existía demasiada información disponible, pero no era de las que se
rinden fácilmente. Resolvió todos los problemas y publicó los detalles para
que los demás pudieran beneficiarse. Y después se mantuvo próxima, siguió
ayudando a los visitantes del grupo de noticias de PowerPoint en todos los
aspectos relacionados con PowerPoint. Y se la designó como MVP de Microsoft
PowerPoint en reconocimiento a las inmensas contribuciones que realizó en el
grupo.

We're saddened to tell you all that we've lost one of our best.

Sonia Coleman, our Lady in Red, passed away on Saturday, July 15.

She'd almost won a long, brave battle with cancer when side effects from the
therapy and other problems unexpectedly took her away peacefully, in her
sleep.

Sonia first came to the PowerPoint newsgroup to learn how to make AutoRun
CDs.
There wasn't much good information available, but she wasn't one to give up
easily. She worked out all the details herself and published them so others
could benefit. And then stuck around, kept helping PowerPoint newsgroup
visitors with all aspects of PowerPoint. And was made a Microsoft PowerPoint
MVP in recognition of the huge contributions she made here.
