LIBERADOR DE ESPACIO

Generalmente, cuando Liberador de espacio en disco se queda bloqueado, es decir, se queda buscando
indefinidamente, suele ser porque encuentra en su escaneo algún archivo corrupto o extraño. Por
norma general, con eliminar los archivos temporales suele arreglarse, para ello ve a Inicio ->
Ejecutar y teclea "%temp%" (sin comillas) y elimina todos los archivos temporales; luego también los
archivos temporales de Internet.

Pero a veces no se trata de archivos temporales si no archivos con nombre muy largo o de dudosa
procedencia que se han descargado. Si eliminando los temporales no se soluciona, busca en
C:\Documents and Settings \Nombre_de_usuario, algún archivo con nombre muy largo o extraño que no
reconozcas, y prueba a cambiarle el nombre o a eliminarlo ;-)

Incluyo la solución efectiva:

Disk Clean Up Problem

Q:Disk clean up hangs or does not finish.
A:"The "Compress Old Files" is causing the hang if you
have a large drive.
To solve the problem do the following.
1.Create a system restore point in case of any problems,
then proceed.
2.Click on Start, Run.
3.Type in "Regedit" and click OK.
4.Browse to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Explorer\VolumeCaches
5.Expand it and delete the folder "Compress Old Files "
6.Close the registry editor and restart the system.
