Deep cleaning...!

Hola grupo,
Uno de los programas utilitarios que tengo tiene una opcion de "Free Space
Shredder".
Dice aunque se borren archivos, inclusive de la papelera de reciclaje es
posible recuperar esos archivos, este Shredder lo que supuestamente hace es
borrar definitivamente, y recuperar el espacio usado. Este es fragmento de
la ayuda del programa

The term Free Space is used to designate unused space on your hard drive.
Yet "empty" memory space can also contain information. If, for example, when
editing a Word document you delete something from the file, when you save it
later, the file will be smaller and will take up less room on the hard drive
than before. The newly freed memory space is considered by Windows to be
empty, but it actually still contains the data deleted from the file and has
merely been released for overwriting. Frequently, however, this may not
occur for a long time and the deleted information can easily be restored
using special programs.

The longer you work on a computer without regularly destroying the "Free
Space", the more information is gathered on the hard drive without you
realizing.

Destroying the data in the Free Space of a hard drive is referred to as deep
cleaning.

Asi como se defragmenta regularmente seria bueno hacerle un deep cleaning.
