Se congela la PC por unos minutos y luego vuelve a funcionar ok

Se congela la PC por unos minutos y luego vuelve a la normalidad, alguno que
me pueda ayudar a solucionar esto?
Les cuento que me pasa desde ni bien termino de instalar el Vista Ultimate
por lo que no debería ser ningún software que instalo luego.
También les cuento que en la misma PC tengo una partición de XP que anda a
las mil maravillas, donde esto no sucede obviamente.

1) Drivers: tengo los que el Vista instala por default salvo la placa de
video Nvidia GeForce 6200 que bajé e instalé los compatibles con Vista. De
todas formas recuerdo que la PC se congela ni bien terminada la instalación
del SO. También instalé los drivers compatibles con Vista del mouse y
teclado inalambricos Microsoft que tengo.

2) Dispositivos USB: a. Webcam Mijuki 1.3 MPixls
b. Teclado y Mouse inalambricos Microsoft

3) La placa madre (motherboard) es un Intel modelo Desktop Board D101GGC con
procesador Pentium 4 HT, 1 Gb Ram.
