Teniendo la MSJMV, ¿vale lo siguiente?

¿Cómo puedo habilitar JavaScript en mi navegador?

Para ver anuncios Google en un sitio web, debe tener habilitado JavaScript en su navegador. Para ello, por favor, sigas estas instrucciones:

Internet Explorer (6.0)

1.. Seleccione Herramientas en el menú de la parte superior.
2.. Elija Opciones de Internet.
3.. Haga clic en la pestaña Seguridad.
4.. Haga clic en Nivel personalizado.
5.. Desplácese hacia abajo hasta llegar a la sección Automatización.
6.. En Secuencias de comandos ActiveX, seleccione Activar y haga clic en Aceptar.
Porque lo tengo así y sigue igual.

Yo no ve esa opcion , ¿Es porque está el PC con la MV de Microsoft?
¿hay que instalar Java de Sun?

Tengo IE6.
Ya veo que con java de Sun tampoco sale JavaScript. He vuelto a quitar java de Sun porque parece que hace competencia con MV de MS.

Por otro lado en Google hay las indicaciones para IE6 que pongo mas abajo. Que no habla para nada de JavaScript.

Java no tiene nada que ver con el servicio de detección Security Check de Symantec.

Estoy convencido de que algún programa que tienes instalado (quizá el antivirus) te está bloqueando ActiveScripting, y posiblemente otras configuraciones de seguridad del navegador. Por tanto, te sugiero que lleves a cabo los siguientes pasos:

1.- Desactiva (o desinstala temporalmente) el antivirus.
2.- Desactiva todos los demás programas que estén residentes en el sistema (al lado del reloj), de tal forma que aparezca sólo el reloj en la bandeja de sistema.
3.- Establece las opciones predeterminadas de seguridad en todos los niveles (Herramientas > Opciones de Internet > Seguridad > Internet > pulsa en "Nivel predeterminado", y aplica los cambios). Haz lo mismo en en resto de zonas de seguridad.
4.- Reinicia de nuevo Internet Explorer y comprueba si accedes perfectamente a la página de Symantec. O bien agrega las direcciones URL de Symantec en la zona de Sitios de confianza:

http://www.symantec.com/securitycheck
http://security.symantec.com/

Para ello, pulsa en Sitios de confianza, y en Sitios. Agrega ambas direcciones y aplica los cambios. Reinicia el navegador.

He puesto las dos direcciones en la zona de confianza de IE6 y del Zone Alarm, con niveles de seguridad baja. Entonces ha empezado a funcionar.

He borrado el control active X de Symantec, y he ido subiendo la seguridad, hasta incluso sacarlos de la zona de confianza.
Al final ha quedado en Internet con seguridad media para IE y seguridad alta para ZA. Y funciona.

Ahora hace los 4 análisis pero me dice que no reconoce al programa antivirus:

Y con otro programa, el Panda "Platinum 6" no detecta el test EICAR.
