A popup window has been blocked

I have IE 6.0, from some weeks to now, I am unable to
access some links that open another windows, following
message in the status bar is shown: "A popup window has
been blocked"

Please let me know how to fix it

Have you installed a popup blocker?
You have installed the Google toolbar?

Have you some application installed anti-pop'ups?

Possibly some application is preventing that there appear these windows of correct form.
One can treat of anti-pop'ups, some firewall, even an antivirus, or some bar of search that
It(He,She) incorporates this type of tools, a proxy, or even for a modification in the file *Hosts*.
