HELP !!!!
My FS2004 keeps freezing randomly it seems. I can't figure out what
the problem is. It's certainly not a video card overheat. Also I
replaced the card with another one and still have the same problem:

All of a sudden the simulation feezes and there is no way to get out
except for resetting the PC.

Can anybody please help? I am desperate.

Doesn't anybody search Deja anymore?

Your video adapter is most likely overheating. Get a new fan on the card,
another fan in the box, open the box for more ventilation, or decrease the
display elements it needs to process... or all four.

I see some third party add ons that specifically warn against using
their products with FS9 when running on Win98. Carendo add-on planes
come to mind. I've successfully installed Win2k on at least one P3 of
500 mHz (though I've not tried FS9 with it). I realize it will be very
difficult to go back once you upgrade, but thought I would throw out
here that your OS could be part of the problem.

It could be Zone Alarm blocking realworld weather if it's enabled.
