Pasa un dcdiag y un netdiag y ponnos los resultados si puedes; el error que
te está dando puede ser por una mala configuración de DNS, un DC mal
despromovido, etc...

Estoy transfiriendo las funciones FSMO de un dc con Win 2K a otro dc

Tengo que despromover el dc primario del dominio para transferir
las funciones FSMO?

Tengo dos servidores con win2k y win 2k3. Como el servidor con
win2k esta muy viejo voy a quitarlo. Los pasos q he realizado han sido los
siguientes:

- Preparar el dominio con la utilidad adprep
- Añadir el nuevo dc al dominio
- Copiar el catalogo global al nuevo dc
- Transferir las funciones fsmo

Una vez acabado esto pensaba despromover del dominio el servidor
con Win2k. Es correcto esto?

Ok, llevas 3 días sin que repliquen los DCs entre sí por algo; la
transferencia del FSMO la deberías poder hacer manualmente y normalmente
como con los otros, pero debes hacerlo con la cuenta de un usuario que tenga
privilegios de administrador de empresa en el bosque.

La configuración DNS de momento debería incluir como DNS2 al otro DC, ý en
el otro DC viejo lo mismo; tras eso, haz un ipconfig /registerdns y reinicia
el servicio netlogon (el servicio sólo, no el servidor); después pasa de
nuevo el dcdiag y netdiag en ambos DCs para ver que no hay errores

Fuerza una réplica e intenta transferir el FSMO de nuevo.

Si sigue fallando, en el peor de los casos despromociona el DC viejo, en la
despromoción debería pasar los FSMO al otro DC; si no lo hiciera, puedes
forzarlo ya si no con ntdsutil:

que te está dando puede ser por una mala configuración de DNS, un DC mal
despromovido, etc...

Estoy transfiriendo las funciones FSMO de un dc con Win 2K a otro dc
con
Windows 2003. He podido transferir todas las funciones excepto la de
maestro
de esquema que me da error. Haciendo la transferencia con la consola me

El laboratorio lo tengo montado hace 3 días así q supongo
que en todo este tiempo no se han replicado. Puedes decirme como
añadir el dns 2.

Ok, llevas 3 días sin que repliquen los DCs entre sí por algo; la
transferencia del FSMO la deberías poder hacer manualmente y normalmente
como con los otros, pero debes hacerlo con la cuenta de un usuario que
tenga privilegios de administrador de empresa en el bosque.

La configuración DNS de momento debería incluir como DNS2 al otro DC, ý en
el otro DC viejo lo mismo; tras eso, haz un ipconfig /registerdns y
reinicia el servicio netlogon (el servicio sólo, no el servidor); después
pasa de nuevo el dcdiag y netdiag en ambos DCs para ver que no hay errores

Fuerza una réplica e intenta transferir el FSMO de nuevo.

Si sigue fallando, en el peor de los casos despromociona el DC viejo, en
la despromoción debería pasar los FSMO al otro DC; si no lo hiciera,
puedes forzarlo ya si no con ntdsutil:

Tengo que despromover el dc primario del dominio para transferir
las funciones FSMO?

Tengo dos servidores con win2k y win 2k3. Como el servidor con
win2k esta muy viejo voy a quitarlo. Los pasos q he realizado han sido

- Preparar el dominio con la utilidad adprep
- Añadir el nuevo dc al dominio
- Copiar el catalogo global al nuevo dc
- Transferir las funciones fsmo

Una vez acabado esto pensaba despromover del dominio el servidor

Pasa un dcdiag y un netdiag y ponnos los resultados si puedes; el error
que te está dando puede ser por una mala configuración de DNS, un DC
mal despromovido, etc...

Estoy transfiriendo las funciones FSMO de un dc con Win 2K a otro
dc con
Windows 2003. He podido transferir todas las funciones excepto la de
maestro
de esquema que me da error. Haciendo la transferencia con la consola
me dice
lo siguiente "Error en la operacion FSMO solicitada. No se puede
conectar con
el titular de FSMO actual. No se puede efectuar la transferencia del

He probado también con la utilidad ntdsutil y me dice lo siguiente
