Reinicio y apagones en windos XP/Memories Disc AFS/AFS2k Driver

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
Muchas gracias por adelantado para quien me pueda ayudar.

Windows XP/Windows 2000

En Windows XP
1.- Ayer instalé en mi ordenador Messenger 7.0
2.- Hoy la máquina me daba problemas de reinicios y apagados automáticos y
me decidí a utilizar el punto de restauración para dejarlo como antes.
3.- Esa no era la solución pues sigue comportándose igual.
4.- Creo que no tengo nada de Hewlett Packard en mi Pc, por lo menos el
hard todo que "se ve" no lo es.
5.- Si intento acceder a la web que abajo aparece se me apaga el pc.

Espero que sea problema de hard y no de soft pero no sé como solucionarlo.
Quedo en vuestras sabias manos.

The AFS/AFS2k driver is a part of a CD Recording engine from Oak Technology,
Inc., (now Zoran, Inc.), that used to be maintained by Simpli Software Inc.
Simpli Software has transferred all support for this product to Hewlett
Packard. If you are not familiar with the AFS/AFS2k driver and you are
wondering how it got on your system, you should know that it comes with
several software applications and your computer may have been shipped with
one of these applications. This driver is loaded during startup and the
problem you reported may occur even if you are not using your CD Recording
feature.

Problem Resolution:


Microsoft is currently not aware of a specific solution for the problem that
you reported, however an improved version of the Memories Disc AFS/AFS2k
driver is available from Hewlett Packard and can be downloaded at the
following web site:

If this problem continues to occur with the latest product updates for the
CD Recording Engine we recommend you obtain assistance and troubleshooting
information from Hewlett Packard.

Desde Panel de control\Sistema\Opciones avanzadas, en el apartado Inicio y
recuperacion, clic en Configuracion y desmarca la opcion "Reiniciar
automaticamente"
Asi ante un error, podrás ver los detalles en una pantalla azul donde
informa del codigo de error y algun archivo implicado.
