Serius issues with 2 Channel Ultra ATA/133 PCI IDE Card

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
I'm running windows XP Pro and I recently installed a 2
Channel Ultra ATA/133 PCI IDE Card, wich is suposed to
add 2 more IDE channels to my PC and make me able to
install 4 more IDE devices. But, I am having horrible
problems with it. First, XP will freeze very often and
sound is automatically disabled. I checked for IRQ
conflicts and rutine checking... but I haven't figured it
out yet. If somebody knows why is this happening I'll
apreciate it as well as some link and info related to the
specific problem.
