Installing windows xp pro/ DOs

Hi everyone, i have a lil problem, when i boot my PC it starts in Dos mode
( too long of a story), i have a cd that contains windows xp pro, it is
inside a folder, and is not bootable. I need to know if it is possible to
install windows xp pro from DOS, if so please give detailed instructions im
a real newbie at this, TIA.
