DFS root error

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
Que tal, un saludo.

Trato de entrar al DFS root de la consola DFS y no me
aparece completamente nada, algo asi como si nunca
hubiera creado nada

Me di cuenta de ello, porque en el visor de eventos me
estaba dando unos mensajes de advertencia, como el
siguiente:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: NtFrs
Event ID: 13562
Description:
Following is the summary of warnings and errors
encountered by File Replication Service while polling the
Domain Controller test.dominio.local for FRS replica set
configuration information.

The nTFRSSubscriber object
cn=informatica,cn=informatica,cn d95d12-c7ee-4bbb-90c5-
7a9554f7cc36,cn=dfs volumes,cn=ntfrs
subscriptions,cn=test,ou=domain
controllers,dc=dominio,dc=local has a invalid value for
the attribute frsMemberReference.
RPC Server is unavaliable

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: NtFrs
Event ID: 13508

Description:
The File Replication Service is having trouble enabling
replication from DC2 to TEST for e:\profesores using the
DNS name dc2.dominio.local. FRS will keep retrying.
Following are some of the reasons you would see this
warning.

[1] FRS can not correctly resolve the DNS name
dc2.dominio.local from this computer.
[2] FRS is not running on dc2.dominio.local.
[3] The topology information in the Active Directory for
this replica has not yet replicated to all the Domain
Controllers.

This event log message will appear once per connection,
After the problem is fixed you will see another event log
message indicating that the connection has been
established.
Data:
0000: 00 00 00 00

Ademas de estos dos mensajes de advertencia, me di cuenta
tambien, porque tengo usuarios que entran a su unidad de
red utilizando el DFSroot, y no pueden accesar.

Entro a la consola DFS, la opcion de display DFS root, y
entro al dominio y me aparece, pero no lo puede
desplegar, me dice que el RPC service is unavaliable.

Trato de generar otro con el mismo nombre y me dice que
ya existe.

Lo ultimo que hice, antes de que sucediera esto, fue
instalar el ultimo parche de Windows 2000 Server SP4 (10
enero 04)

Gracias por tu respuesta Ignacio.

Estuve checando los articulos que me enviaste. Pero sigue
sin funcionar...

Lo que cheque es que cuando ejecuto el ADSIedit.msc entro
a los DFS root, y encuentro que estan todos los que
tenia, con todo y sus Replication Root y link.

Pero entro a la consola de DFS y me sigue enviando el
mensaje de RPC Service is Unavaliable.

Espero que me puedas ayudar en eso...porque esta muy
raro..

Verifica bien los puntos que indica la explicación del


Warning.

Por defecto el limite del volumen a replicar es de 630


MB, pero lo puedes cambiar editando la clave
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NtFrs
\Parameters
Staging Space Limit in KB
Si has superado alguna vez el valor allí establecido,


deberas modificar el valor y también darle una limpieza a
la base de datos Jet del NTFRS.
