Changing a cell color...

Can someone help me how can I change a cell color using the"IF" command???

depending of what the 'if command' meaning is:
-o- if worksheet function, the answer [I'm afraid) is: NO!
[unless you define a custom number format / style, or apply format conditions]
-o- if vba function through macro code, you need to use the .Font.ColorIndex property of a range object
[maybe handling events in worksheet code-module]
which are the conditions / requirements for color change?
